Welcome to the Religious Education Program!
Religious Education classes for children Preschool (4 years old) thru 8th grade take place Sunday 8:45-9:45 am, followed by Mass @ 10 a.m.
Classes take place September thru May and Registrations for the new school year start in the Spring (April) for families already enrolled in our Program and in the Summer (June) for new families. Check our Sunday Bulletin for specific information
Requirements:
- Attend an Informational Session (check our Bulletin for dates, time and location).
- Bring a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate
- Pay the Registration fee
- Be a registered parishioner – please do so if you have not done it
- Family involvement in parish activities
St. Anthony’s Religious Education Program offers the following classes:
- Early Childhood (Pre-K) 4 years old
- Kindergarten – 8th Grade
- Spanish Program (K- 4th Grade)
- Sacrament Preparation (preparation for First Communion & Reconciliation). Preparation to receive First Reconciliation and First Communion is a consecutive 2- year program which begins at the time your child enrolls in the Elementary Program.
- Initiation Program
- Confirmation (High School)
Thank you for continuing the process of your child’s faith information. Preparation to receive First Reconciliation and First Communion is a consecutive 2-year program which begins when your child enrolls in the Elementary Program. Children beginning sacramental preparation after the first grade must attend the RCIC Program, which is also a 2-year program.
Our classes are limited in number (20 students per classroom) and students will be taken first come first serve basis. Our Religious Education Program is totally dependable on volunteers to teach and support our children. One of the best ways to deepen your knowledge and love of our Christian Faith is teaching to the youth of our parish through the Religious Education program.
